𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗶, keynote speaker of our recent Feminin Pluriel | Berlin event 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 at the Ambassade de France en Allemagne , on receiving one of Germany’s highest distinctions: the 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗸𝗿𝗲𝘂𝘇 𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 of the 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆.

This prestigious honour celebrates his exceptional contributions to women’s health and his pioneering work in the treatment and support of patients with gynaecological cancers.

As 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗳𝗼̈𝗿 𝗚𝘆𝗻𝗮̈𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲́ – 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮̈𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻, he has been a driving force for patient‑centred cancer care, scientific excellence, and compassionate leadership.
Prof. Sehouli is not only a renowned physician and researcher — he is a 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, working tirelessly to connect medicine, science, and culture in service of patients and society.

His impact extends far beyond the clinic, shaping the way women’s health is understood, supported, and advanced in Germany and internationally.

We at 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻 are honoured to have him as a supporter of our mission to empower women, elevate diverse voices, and foster meaningful dialogue around health and leadership.

During the award ceremony on 14 January, he reflected:
